The houses built in the 1930s represented the first truly modern British homes, although many of the examples today are in need of renovation and repairs. This book looks at some of the major restorations issues, such as cavity wall tie failure, corroded metal windows, unstable bays and collapsing drains.

Took this out to try and solve a small damp problem. Found it most useful. A compelling read, I looked at all the typical features of our own home. Would recommend to anybody with a house built in the 1930's.
