Very gripping and moving. Should be a set text in all secondary schools. Would also be a useful addition to the Shelf Help series at the library. I'm normally a 'the book is always better' kinda girl. However, having watched the Netflix series immediately after reading the book, I have to qualify that somewhat. There are things I liked better about the book for sure. Yet on balance, I'd have to say that Tony's character was much more realistically developed in the series. Also, the consequences were better dealt with on the screen.
