Ultimately disappointing. Despite having a decent premise and the plot being nicely and stylishly driven along, the main characters soon develop into caricatures. The plot soon became increasingly strained with the denouement rather hurried and throwaway, certainly in comparison to the earlier pace and tenor. A shame really as the initial promise created a real page-Turner.
