This book divided opinion amongst our group with scores out of 10 ranging from 3 to 9. Whilst a few members really enjoyed it, the majority found it hard to get into, with some people disliking the style of the narration. There was dissatisfaction with the ambiguous ending although the ending does lend itself to group discussion. The group did feel that the book was good material for the forthcoming film. 6/10 Wine, Women and Words
